I prepared a book proposal, I had 20 beautiful silk screen covers, professionally edited, it was a piece of work. I went to the Bookseller’s Convention in 1978 and it was in Atlanta that year, it’s usually in New York. How did you end up getting that book deal? That book, Nothing Down, really put you on the map. I’ve got three children as well and you can’t pick one over the other. I’ve got three children, I can’t tell you which is my favorite, I can’t tell you which is my favorite book. It became a Number 1 New York Times Bestseller and is still selling to this very day, almost 40 years later. The first book, Nothing Down, was the one that put me on the map.
